For an experienced solicitor already managing their own Wills and Probate caseload, this represents an opportunity to take the next step in their career, with greater autonomy, influence and a clear pathway towards senior leadership and a Director-level position.

The Role

• Manage a varied caseload of Wills, Probate and Estate Administration matters
• Advise clients on Wills, Trusts, Inheritance Tax and Estate Planning
• Oversee matters from initial instruction through to completion
• Maintain and develop strong, long-term client relationships
• Play an active role in the continued growth and direction of the Private Client department
• Support junior colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team culture
• Participate in business development and local networking initiatives
• Potentially undertake some related Conveyancing work, depending on experience and preference

About You

• A qualified solicitor who is eligible to practise in Northern Ireland
• Strong experience within Wills, Probate and Private Client work
• Confident managing a caseload independently from beginning to end
• STEP qualified, or willing to work towards the qualification
• Commercially aware, with an interest in practice development
• An excellent communicator with a personable and client-focused approach
• Ambitious to develop your career and progress into a senior position

While the Director Designate opportunity will particularly suit an experienced Private Client Solicitor, Armstrong Solicitors is also keen to hear from ambitious solicitors with approximately two years’ PQE or more who have relevant Wills and Probate experience and are looking for genuine long term career development.
