Overview

Pathway Legal is working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Derry / Londonderry to recruit a Personal Injury Solicitor.

This opportunity has arisen through expansion. The firm currently has a team of 30 staff working across plaintiff personal injury litigation, offering the opportunity to join a substantial, specialist practice with a varied caseload.

The role would suit a solicitor with personal injury experience who is keen to develop their career with access to ongoing training, mentoring and support.

The Role

You will manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury claims from initial instruction through to resolution. Responsibilities will include:

• Advising clients throughout the claims process.
• Preparing legal documentation and progressing claims efficiently.
• Liaising with insurers, medical experts and other legal professionals.
• Negotiating settlements and achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Delivering a high standard of client care.

The Person

• Qualified as a Solicitor in Northern Ireland, or eligible to practise in Northern Ireland.
• Experience in personal injury litigation.
• Strong communication, negotiation and case management skills.
• An organised, proactive and client-focused approach.
• Comfortable managing your own caseload and working collaboratively with colleagues.
