Senior Solicitor – Wills & Probate

Overview

A well-established law firm in Greater Belfast is seeking to recruit a Wills & Probate Solicitor to join its Private Client team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor to take on a key role within a growing department and progress their career within private client law.

The role offers a clear route to partnership and will involve contributing to business development and the long-term growth of the department. While STEP qualification is highly desirable, applications are welcomed from solicitors at all levels with relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of wills, probate and estate administration matters

• Advise clients on wills, trusts, inheritance tax and estate planning

• Handle probate files from initial instruction through to completion

• Build and maintain strong client relationships

• Contribute to business development and departmental growth

Essential Skills and Experience

• Qualified Solicitor (NI qualified or eligible to practise in Northern Ireland)

• Experience in wills and probate or private client matters

• STEP qualification or a willingness to work towards it

• Strong communication and client care skills

• Commercial awareness and ambition to progress
