An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to join a prestigious national law firm with a strong UK presence and a growing Litigation team in Belfast.

This role would suit an experienced Legal Secretary who enjoys working within a busy litigation environment and providing high-quality support to solicitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to litigation solicitors
- Prepare and produce legal documents, correspondence, court forms and bundles
- Undertake high-volume typing and audio typing accurately and efficiently
- Format and proofread documents in line with firm templates and house style
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and emails on behalf of fee earners
- Maintain accurate and well-organised electronic and paper case files
- Assist with diary management, meetings, court dates and appointments
- Prepare and assist with court bundles and other litigation documentation
- Deal professionally with client and third-party telephone enquiries
- Provide general administrative support to the wider Litigation team
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or within a litigation support role in a law firm
- Strong typing and audio-typing skills
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when preparing and formatting legal documents
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
- Professional, proactive and team-focused approach
Desirable
- Previous experience supporting a Litigation team
- Knowledge of litigation terminology and court procedures
- Experience preparing digital court bundles or using e-filing systems
- Experience using legal case management systems
