Overview
Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Northern Ireland, is seeking a professional and organised Litigation Secretary to join their Antrim office. This role will primarily support the firm’s Medical Negligence and General Litigation teams.
Key Responsibilities

Provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to solicitors within the litigation team.

Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and court forms.

Manage diaries, meetings, and travel arrangements for solicitors.

Liaise with clients, barristers, and external agencies efficiently and professionally.

Maintain accurate case files and ensure all deadlines are met.

Assist with billing, time recording, and general office administration as required.
Essential Skills and Experience
-
Previous experience as a litigation secretary, ideally with exposure to medical negligence cases.

Strong typing, document preparation, and proofreading skills.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Discretion, confidentiality, and a professional manner.

Ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
