Overview

Our client, a well-established Belfast City Centre firm with over 30 years’
experience, is seeking a talented Employment Law Solicitor to join their team
on a permanent basis. The firm’s strong reputation is built on the breadth of
expertise offered by its partners and staff, and the depth of their practical
experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE
in employment law to further develop their career within a respected and
supportive practice.

Key Responsibilities

·       Advising employer and
employee clients on the full range of contentious and non-contentious
employment law matters.

·       Drafting, reviewing,
and negotiating employment contracts, policies, and procedures.

·       Representing clients
in employment tribunals and providing advocacy where appropriate.

·       Supporting clients
with workplace investigations, grievance, and disciplinary processes.

·       Keeping up to date
with employment law developments and providing clear, practical advice.

·       Building and
maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to the firm’s
continued growth.

Essential Skills and
Experience

·       Qualified solicitor
with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE in employment law.

·       Proven experience in
handling both advisory and contentious matters.

·       Strong technical
knowledge of employment legislation and case law.

·       Excellent drafting,
negotiation, and communication skills.

·       Ability to work
independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.

·       A client-focused
approach with strong commercial awareness.
