Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal PA to join a busy Property team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to fee earners, working within a fast-paced legal environment where accuracy, organisation and professionalism are essential.

This role will suit someone with strong legal administration experience, excellent document production skills and the ability to manage competing priorities while delivering outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to property fee earners and the wider team.

• Prepare, amend, format and proofread legal documents, correspondence, file notes and related materials to a high standard.

• Produce professional documentation using Microsoft Word, including formatting, styles, numbering, layouts and document clean-up.

• Manage electronic and paper filing systems, ensuring files are maintained accurately and in line with procedures.

• Support diary management, including scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, conference calls and general coordination.

• Accurately transcribe dictation and prepare correspondence as required.

• Communicate professionally with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders including solicitors, lenders and other third parties.

• Manage multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all times.

• Assist with document management, billing systems, time recording and general administrative processes.

• Provide support with research and matter preparation where required.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working within a legal environment, ideally within property or conveyancing.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload.

• Excellent Microsoft Word skills with the ability to produce and format professional legal documents.

• High level of accuracy with strong proofreading, grammar and attention to detail skills.

• Experience managing files, deadlines and competing priorities.

• Strong communication skills with confidence in dealing with clients and external contacts.

• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and legal practice management systems.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.

• Professional, proactive and client-focused approach.
