Overview:
Our client, a prestigious small law firm in Belfast city centre, is seeking a friendly and organised Conveyancing Secretary to join their team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some legal experience looking to develop a career in conveyancing, or for someone already experienced in conveyancing seeking a flexible working arrangement. The role is ideally three days per week, with four days also being considered.
Key Responsibilities:

Providing secretarial and administrative support to the conveyancing team.

Drafting letters, emails, and legal documents accurately and efficiently.

Managing client files, ensuring all documentation is up to date and compliant.

Liaising with clients, other solicitors, and third parties in a professional manner.

Supporting the team with general office duties as required.

Learning and developing conveyancing procedures and best practices under the guidance of experienced team members.
Essential Skills and Experience:

Previous legal or secretarial experience preferred; candidates with some legal experience who are keen to train in conveyancing will also be considered.

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

Friendly, professional, and client-focused approach.
