Overview

Our client is a professional body providing
employment law and HR support, training, and advice to businesses across
Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

They are now seeking a Solicitor or Barrister
to join their highly respected team. This is a unique opportunity to work on
high-quality employment law matters.  The
role offers the chance to provide expert advice, advocacy, and training while
being supported by a long established, people focused organisation.

This role would ideally suit a lawyer with 2–5
years’ PQE and a passion for employment law. However, candidates with less
experience who can demonstrate a strong interest and commitment to specialising
in this field will also be considered.

Key
Responsibilities

  • Advising member businesses on a wide range of employment law
    matters.
  • Providing clear, practical guidance and representation on HR and
    workplace issues.
  • Carrying out your own advocacy with training and support provided.
  • Delivering training sessions and workshops to members.
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure a collaborative and
    professional service.
  • Contributing to the development of resources, updates, and guidance
    materials for members.

Essential
Skills & Experience

  • Qualified Solicitor or Barrister
  • 2–5 years’ PQE in employment law preferred (other experience
considered if passion for the area is demonstrated).
  • Strong advocacy skills, with the ability and confidence to
    represent clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability
    to provide clear, practical advice.
  • Strong interest in training, learning and development.

What’s on
Offer

  • Salary up to £60,000 (depending on experience).
  • Hybrid working arrangement.
  • A supportive environment with long serving employees and a strong
    focus on professional development.
  • Opportunity to carry out your own advocacy with training and
    support.
  • High-quality, rewarding work in employment law without the
    pressures of billable hours.
  • Investment in your growth and ongoing training.

This is an excellent opportunity for a
Solicitor or Barrister looking to specialise further in employment law and join
a highly regarded professional body making a real difference to businesses
across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
