Pathway is working with a reputable and prestigious law firm seeking an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join their busy Newry office. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys being a key support to a high-performing property team. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing full secretarial support to conveyancing solicitors

  • Preparing legal documentation including contracts, transfers, and completion statements

  • Managing client files from opening through to post-completion

  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties professionally

  • Audio typing and drafting correspondence

  • Handling Land Registry forms and submissions

  • Diary management, scheduling appointments, and managing deadlines

  • Maintaining accurate filing systems and case records

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within conveyancing/property law

  • Strong audio typing and document production skills

  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities

  • Professional communication skills and client-focused approach

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
