Matrimonial Solicitor

Overview

Pathway is pleased to be working with a well-established law firm with offices in Newtownards and other locations across Northern Ireland. They are seeking a matrimonial solicitor to join their busy family law team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE who is looking to develop their career in family law.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload including divorce, separation, child arrangements, and ancillary relief matters.

• Advise clients on all aspects of matrimonial law and family disputes.

• Prepare documentation, correspondence, and court applications accurately and efficiently.

• Represent clients at mediations, negotiations, and court hearings.

• Maintain excellent client care and build strong client relationships.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm’s offices to provide seamless service.

Skills and Experience

• Qualified solicitor with at least 2 years PQE in family or matrimonial law.

• Experience handling a range of family law matters.

• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Client-focused, professional, and approachable.
